Load a file and choose a page
JPG·PNG·still WebP or PDF. For multi-page PDFs, choose the page to enlarge. Work on one selected page at a time.

Choose finished width and paper
Target width is the picture width after trimming and assembly. 600mm is 60cm; height follows the original aspect ratio. Choose the A4/Letter paper and orientation you will actually use.

Check margins, overlap and sheet count
‘Adjust margins & overlap’ lets you change the 10mm/5mm defaults. Review size, rows, columns and sheet count. Larger width, margins or overlap can increase the count. Trim unused paper in the final row or column.

PDF Save, then test print
‘Save tiled PDF’, then use ‘Open · Print’ or a PDF viewer. Print at 100% Actual Size with the settings below. For multiple sheets, test two adjacent sheets for size and alignment first.

How to assemble the printed sheets

Arrange sheets left to right, row by row, top to bottom as previewed. Trim outer margins at solid marks. From column two, trim left overlap; from row two, trim top overlap to dashed marks and align with the previous sheet. Leave those overlaps on the first row/column. Check the picture alignment, tape the back, then trim the outer edge.

Clarity depends on the source and finished size

Increasing image width lowers print resolution (dpi). Check the estimate and use a high-resolution source. Enlargement cannot create missing detail. Scanned images inside PDFs are affected too; test small text and lines in print.

Allow extra space for marks

Check the printer minimum margin and add about 3mm for marks. With a 5mm minimum, you can test the 10mm default. Supported margins are 8–30mm; increase them if marks are clipped.

Use the same settings for every sheet. Measure a grid or known length with a ruler to check size.

PDF generation and on-screen behaviour were tested. Physical printers and mobile hardware remain unverified.

Files, sizes and assembly

Which files and sizes are supported?

Files can be up to 40MB. JPG, PNG and still WebP support up to 32MP and 32,768px per side. Load a PDF with up to 500 source pages and choose one page; output is limited to 120 tiled sheets per PDF.

Finished width must be 10–10,000mm and computed height 0.01–10,000mm. Aspect ratio and the sheet limit for your paper, margins and overlap further constrain the usable size.

PDF : can I enlarge the whole file or a Word document at once?

PDF enlarges one selected page at a time. Choose another page and save again to print it. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and animated WebP are unsupported. Export the needed document page as PDF first.

Password-protected PDFs and target pages with annotations/forms are unsupported. Prepare an unprotected, flattened PDF.

Are aspect ratio and PDF clarity preserved?

Height follows overall width, preserving aspect ratio. Images use source pixels and show estimated print dpi. PDF vectors stay vector; photos/scans inside a PDF still depend on source resolution.

The preview is reduced for the screen and may differ in clarity from output. Interactive structures such as PDF links, attachments and accessibility tags are not transferred.

How do overlap, cut and alignment marks work?

With 5mm overlap, adjacent sheets repeat a 5mm strip. Outside the artwork, short solid cut marks and dashed marks show the required left/top overlap edges. Join marks with a ruler to locate cuts. Page numbers and R(row)/C(column) identify sheet order.

From column two, trim left overlap; from row two, trim top overlap and align with the previous sheet edge. At 0mm overlap, align artwork edges without a repeated strip. Yellow overlap areas and boundary lines are preview guides, not coloured onto the artwork in output.

The assembled size is wrong or marks are clipped.

Check paper/orientation and Actual Size/100%. Disable Fit, automatic scaling and Borderless. The PDF is already tiled, so disable viewer poster splitting and multiple pages per sheet too.

If marks are clipped, check the printer non-printable area, increase margins and regenerate the PDF. Feed variation can occur even with identical settings; test two adjacent sheets before printing the rest.

Are selected files sent or saved elsewhere?

Files are read and tiled in this browser. This tool does not upload selected files and needs no login or external API. ‘Save PDF’ downloads the generated file to your device.

Replacing the file or leaving releases previous processing results. You manage downloaded PDFs and any sharing yourself.
