YELLOW K TOOLS didn’t start with a business plan.
It started with a much simpler thought:
“I wish there were an easy tool for this.”
For years, that would have been the end of it.
Then AI made me ask a more interesting question.
“Could I make it myself?”
Why I Started
I’m not a developer.
I have a regular job, no traditional programming background, and YELLOW K began in the spare hours around everyday life.
AI gave me a way to turn small ideas into things I could actually open in a browser and use.
That feeling still hasn’t gotten old.
Something that existed only in my head yesterday can exist on the internet today.
So I kept building.
Building with AI
AI is a big part of how YELLOW K is made, but it isn’t a magic button.
There is still plenty of trial and error.
I build something. I change something. Something else breaks.
Occasionally, moving a button a few pixels becomes the main event of my evening.
AI helps with the technical work I couldn’t do alone.
I decide what to make, what feels useful, what needs to change, and when it’s useful enough to put online.
AI doesn’t build YELLOW K by itself.
But without it, I probably wouldn’t have been able to start.
What I Believe
I like small tools.
Not everything needs to become a platform.
Sometimes you have one small problem. You want to open a tool, solve it, and get on with your day.
That’s what I want YELLOW K TOOLS to be.
Most tools work right away without an account or sign-up.
Whenever possible: Simple. Useful. Easy to use.
No unnecessary steps. No features just for the sake of having more features.
Sometimes better simply means fewer annoying steps.
I also believe in making things before making them perfect.
Build something small. Put it online. See what happens. Improve what deserves improving.
Some experiments will work better than others. That’s fine.
Why I Keep Building
Spare time disappears either way.
I can spend an evening watching something, playing something, or scrolling.
Or I can spend it making something.
The evening is gone in both cases.
But sometimes, after making something, there’s a little website sitting there that didn’t exist before.
I like that.
It doesn’t have to change the world.
It just has to leave a small trace: I spent some of my time making this.
What’s Next
There is no grand plan to turn YELLOW K into a platform that does everything.
I’d rather keep adding small tools that are useful when you need them and stay out of the way when you don’t.
Some will work. Some will change. Some will probably collect a little digital dust.
And new ideas will keep showing up.
So I’ll keep trying to build them. One small tool at a time.
Simple tools, made when needed.
