Our approach
YELLOW K TOOLS aims to process only the information needed to operate and improve the site. Public tools can be used without an account or sign-up.
Where possible, inputs are processed in your browser. Some features use the YELLOW K server or external services, so the exact processing depends on the feature you use.

HOW INPUTS ARE HANDLED
Browser and external processing
Some calculator inputs, image processing, local notes, and card- or choice-based inputs are handled only in your browser and may not be sent to YELLOW K servers.
Features that use AI or retrieve current or reference data may send the necessary part of your input to the YELLOW K server or a third-party API to provide the result. The provider's own policies also apply in those cases.

BROWSER STORAGE
Browser storage and cookies
For convenience, some tools may use localStorage for settings, drafts, local notes, tool state, and a random first-party analytics identifier. sessionStorage may hold a random identifier for the current visit and the first landing path. This is not a server-side account profile.
localStorage and sessionStorage are browser-storage mechanisms that are separate from cookies. Advertising providers and essential infrastructure may use cookies or similar technologies for their respective purposes.
You can clear locally stored information and cookies through your browser's site-data settings or a tool's reset controls.

FIRST-PARTY ANALYTICS
Usage analytics
We use first-party operational analytics that record visited pages, tool-use events, general browser and device categories, categorised referral sources, and random visitor and session identifiers.
Analytics events do not include tool-input content, notes, documents, images, text you write, calculator values, names, email addresses, precise location, or site-search terms.
First-party analytics events stored on the server are kept for up to 180 days. Older events are deleted automatically.

ADS & COOKIES
Google AdSense and advertising choices
YELLOW K TOOLS uses Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use or read cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, manage frequency, measure performance, and prevent abuse.
Where your choices and required consent allow, ads may be personalised using information about previous visits. When advertising tags load, technical information such as the page URL, IP address, and browser information may be sent to Google.
You can manage personalised advertising with the Google controls linked below. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, although this may affect some advertising or site functions.
Where consent is required, a consent process that meets applicable law and Google's requirements must be used. Reading this policy is not a substitute for cookie consent.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Third-party services
The site currently may use Google AdSense, OpenAI, Frankfurter, Coinbase, WCLC, Blogger/Google, and hosting infrastructure. These services may process the requests and technical information needed for advertising, AI processing, reference data such as rates or official results, blog hosting, and delivery of the site under their own policies.
When you open an external link or use an externally processed feature, the privacy and cookie policies of that service also apply.
The site uses HTTPS and reasonable technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Browser-stored data may remain until you or the browser removes it. Public-tool inputs are not kept permanently as a YELLOW K user-account history except where processing is needed to provide the feature. External services follow their own retention policies.
You can use browser cookie and site-data controls, tool reset features, and Google advertising controls to manage the choices that are actually available.
